Here is my birth vlog for my second daughter born this year. Boy was it difficult. I didn't have medication for either one. Both were difficult and painful but this birth was much more difficult.

DIY Enchanted Forest Cupcakes
ENCHANTED FOREST CUPCAKES
I recently received an order for moss / grass cupcakes for an enchanted forest themed party.
I wasn't quite sure what that meant but when the client sent over a picture of what
they were looking for I loved it. The design was simple and elegant.
I frosted each cupcake with green frosting. I then covered each cupcake complete in
crumbled green cake to achieve the moss effect. Last, I used white fondant and an edible
green marker for the flower. You can find my complete instruction in the video below.
Thanks for watching and happy caking!!

DIY Faux Fireplace | How to Make a Portable Fireplace & Mantle | Home De...
Hey guys! I wanted to share our latest home renovation with you all. We recently purchased a home that did not have a fireplace. After much consideration we finally decided to build a faux fireplace with a built in heater. It was really affordable and only cost around $350 for supplies. The bottom part of fireplace is portable.
Check the video below for our before and after journey!!
At first, I was nervous the faux fireplace would look really fake. We almost installed a shelving unit. But I have to admit, the finished product adds a nice touch to our living room. It feels cozier and warmer than before. Hope this inspires you to yours in your future renovations.

DIY SMALL PANTRY ORGANIZATION IDEAS | Closet Organization Cabinet Hacks ...
Hey guys! I know its been a while. But I'm finally back with a post to help organize small pantries.
I know that's random...lol. But we bought a house with a extremely small food pantry and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to fit more items in my current space without making it look junkie.
The over the door spice rack and the under the shelf baskets both came from Amazon.com.
Here is the YouTube video I recently uploaded to my channel. I go into more detail about how I put everything together. Hopefully it will help you guys out.

Pinkblush Maternity Dress Haul Review and $75 Giveaway!
Normally, I'm not the biggest fan of maternity clothing. I usually try to get through my pregnancy by wearing plus size clothes and flowy tops. Even though maternity clothing has come a long way, I still feel like the clothes tend to be overpriced and aren't very stylish.
I recently collaborated with Pinkblush Maternity. They have an extensive collection of maternity clothing that is trendy and affordable. The one thing I really like about their items is, they can be worn before, during, and after pregnancy. This is a huge plus! Maternity clothing that can be worn longer than 9 months is always great!
They sent me the following three dresses and nursing robe. All items were comfortable, beautiful and fit great! The robe as well as the dresses were ordered in a size large. Just for reference sake, I'm 5'4". This should give you a baseline on how the dresses may fit you.
1. Burgundy Off Shoulder Long Sleeve Maternity Dress
2. Rust Tribal Cutout Mock Neck Sleeveless Maternity Dress

3. Navy Floral Fitted Dress

Celebrating Baby Girl Lopez
I know I haven't been posting that much lately on my blog but let's just say I have a very good reason. As you may tell by the picture, I'm currently pregnant with my third child! Time has gone by so fast and our little girl will be here before we know it! This has been a very exciting time for me and my family but it has also been a little overwhelming. Juggling motherhood, working, and YouTube life can be exhausting.
Honestly, we don't have much to complain about. John and I are fortunate and blessed beyond measure. We can't wait to experience life with a daughter. I've become so accustom with only having boys that it's hard to imagine another female in the house (outside of the dog...lol).
As far as the shower, it was absolutely beautiful and everything we hoped for. My family and friends really did a great job. The decorations, food, and games were amazing. But most of all, it was great celebrating with close friends and family that were just as excited as we were.
I started this blog when I was 9 months pregnant with Jase. He just turned three years old and I can't believe I'm expecting another little Lopez. Hopefully I can keep you posted on the wonderful changes I know this journey has in store. God bless and stay tuned!

HOW TO MAKE: EASY NO BAKE DIY OREO TRUFFLES / BALLS TUTORIAL - Sharron's...
I usually make these for special occasion and they taste amazing. Some may call them Oreo
Balls but they're the same thing. The only difference is, I like to drizzle mine with chocolate
instead of covering them completely. It's a little too sweet for me and tastes more like candy
when they're completely covered. It's made with three simple ingredients and extremely
quick to make! Check out my YouTube video for more details. Thanks again and God bless!
INGREDIENTS
1 Package of Oreos
1 8oz Package of Cream Cheese

COOK WITH US ~ Healthy Vegan Recipes!!
John and I recently finished a 14 day stint as vegans and it was great. We lost weight, had more clarity, felt more energized, and slept better. But we did face a few challenges. It was difficult getting use to a diet that doesn't have meat. So we had issues staying full. We didn't have any breads or pasta to hold us over either. We only consumed fruits, vegetables and beans. I know this is more extreme for some vegans but we were participating in a more stringent version of the DANIEL DIET with our church.
One of the first things we quickly realized was we were going to have to get really creative with our meals or we we're going to be miserable. We both looked up recipes that we wanted to make and tried them out every night. I have to say, they were really good. The strange thing is, I didn't really miss having meat for dinner.
My sisters and their families went vegan with us as well, so we agreed to rotate having dinner at each others house for a few days. John and I hosted dinner at our house last Wednesday and we wanted to do our best. We decided to make the best vegan recipes we had found and have a complete meal with an entrée, side, soup, salad and dessert.
The dinner consisted of Shepherds Pie, SWEET POTATO HASH, CAULIFLOWER SOUP, Blueberry Spinach salad and PLANTAINS. I decided to make a quick YouTube video of us cooking dinner. Hopefully it will provide some meal inspiration! Happy Cooking & God bless!!
Shepherd's Pie
8 medium size Potatoes
1/2 cup of chopped Onions
1 cup of chopped Mushrooms
1 tablespoon of Minced Garlic
2 cups of Carrots
2 cups of fresh Spinach
1 cup of Sweet Peas
Garlic Salt to taste
Directions:
Boil potatoes and carrots separately until soft, set aside. Sauté chopped onions, minced garlic and mushrooms at medium heat for three minutes. Add softened carrots, sweet peas, fresh spinach and sauté for another three minutes. Place into a casserole dish. In a separate dish, mash potatoes until smooth and season to taste. Spread mashed potatoes on top of veggies and then bake for 15 minutes.
Blueberry Spinach Salad
1 bag of fresh spinach
4 ounces of fresh blueberries
1 orange
1 teaspoon of Garlic salt
1 tablespoon of Olive oil
1 tablespoon of Agave Nectar
Directions:
Cut the orange in half and squeeze all juice into a bowl, add garlic salt, olive oil, and agave nectar. Mix dressing well. In a separate bowl, add spinach and blueberries. Finally, add dressing and make sure it's evenly distributed on salad.

The Bright Side!
Life is a journey filled with ups, downs, and in-betweens. I can't even count how many unexpected twists and turns I've encountered along the way. The phrase, "I didn't see that coming" has become apart of my daily dialogue! Some moments have been sweeter than words can describe while others left me with my heart in two. But that's life...the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Life can be a good teacher if you're willing to learn. Lesson One: Get over it! Sometimes you have to let things go and by go I don't mean store them in a mental vault guarded by lock and key! You have to really deal with your issues no matter how difficult they may be. Then you have to move on. Lesson Two: Prepare yourself for the unexpected! This one doesn't need much explanation. Just keep in mind things will rarely go as planned...lol. Finally, Lesson Three: There is a bright side to everything! Even in the darkest situations, there is a light. Focusing your sight on the bright side is what enables you to see joy in the sorrow and sunshine through the rain. God bless! Monday, December 7, 2015

I've been working really hard lately on my cupcake / dessert video tutorials for my YouTube channel Sharron's Take. I recently posted one for DIY Thanksgiving Cupcakes and DIY Wedding Cupcakes. When I first started decorating cakes, I came across a ton of general tutorials like how to frost a cake, how to stack a cake and different ways to pipe on cupcakes. My Laser Hair Removal Experience - Sharron's Take
Like so many other women out there, I have struggled with facial hair. It's not an easy topic for most of us to talk about. Honestly, it can be down right embarrassing for some of us to admit.
My issues started when I was fourteen and worsened with age. I have tried so many hair removal techniques and products. I have spent so much money on removing hair that was just going to grow back in a few days.
After much consideration, I finally decided to have laser hair removal. I am so glad that I did! My results have been great. At the wonderful age of 31, I am no longer embarrassed by unwanted hair. I am proud of my decision and can freely share my story. Hopefully it will hope someone else out there!

My Two Year YouTube Anniversary!! | GIVEAWAY - Sharron's Take
Yay!! It's my two year anniversary on Youtube. Wow, I can't believe it's already been two years. I started this channel at the urging of my big sister Shaun. After some talking to, I decided that this was a good idea. I didn't quite know what I wanted to do with my channel and I'm still learning. I thought vlogging was weird and frankly who cared about the daily ins and outs of my life?? LOL
"Who puts their personal business on Youtube anyway??"
Now that it's been two years, I finally see some of the purpose God has for my channel and for me. I've grown so much and I'm glad I decided to step out on faith and do this. I've learned so much about myself and from others. I'm glad I have an avenue to let loose creatively. I love to do so many things and this has been the perfect forum to express myself. I'm so blessed that I can finally show my love for Christ, journalism, baking, fashion, and any other randomness that comes across my mind.
Thank you everyone that has read my blogs, watched my vlogs, and continued to support me.
You will never know how much I appreciate you. I can only pray that my life continue to bless others as much as God has blessed me. Love you all and as always be blessed!! ]

Fall Time Fun
It's that time of year again....FALL!!!!!! This has and will always be my favorite season. I love the chill that comes in the air. It's not too hot, not too cold and I can finally wear my boots!!!
Yes...lol. Another reason I love this time of year is because it means Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For the past three years I have tried to focus my mind on being grateful, regardless of the circumstance. This year is no different. I have suffered much lose but I still have so much more to appreciate
.
If you're new to my blog, every year we make a gratitude pumpkin. "I'm Thankful For" is written boldly on the front and every day of November, each member of the family writes down something they are grateful for. It's a great visual reminder. It really does put your mind on the right track for having a grateful heart.
This year our family started early. We went to the store and both boys picked out there
pumpkin. Then we went home and decorated our tables. I know it's only the first of
October, but I wanted to get an early start this year. Here are a few pictures from our outing.

DIY Ribbon Earring Holder
Just wanted to show a picture of the DIY earring holder I made out of burlap ribbon. It was super easy to make. All I did was cut the strips of equal length and position each strip using push pins.
Burlap is perfect to use because it's sturdy and won't bend or sag from the weight of the earrings.
